| Kookoodoll talks to Meat Eaters Anonymous! Kookoodoll.com talks with an ex-butcher and present day founder of Meat Eaters Anonymous, a 12-step program for carnivore addiction. Keeping with protocol, we are not at liberty to disclose the identity of M.E. Anonymous members or their meeting locations. The Hungry Pet Owners Association (HPOA), whose controversial motto "We eat pets!" have raised much public concern about excessive meat eating, in general, and domestic animal eating, in particular. This is a new, suburban epidemic. M.E. Anon: Hi. Nice to meet you. Get it? Ha! Kookoodoll: Yeah, I get it. It's nice to meet you too. M.E. Anon: I just got back from the Meatadone Clinic and I am happy to announce that synthetic protein is available in daily dosages. Kookoodoll: How did you get addicted to meat? M.E. Anon: I started in the meat business as a butcher and so I was around the stuff all day. A little taste of this, a little taste of that, before I knew it, it was no longer a little taste, I had developed a healthy appetite for meat. We'd call it protein for short. The open range buffalo, now that was my favorite. Very hard to get. Kookoodoll: So how did you decide to get help? M.E. Anon: (Sigh.) I realized I had an addiction when I started to barbeque maybe 2 to 3 times a day. When someone buys bulk charcoal, it's one of the first signs and you know they have a real meat problem. Kookoodoll: What was a typical day for you? M.E. Anon: Score the meat, cook the meat, then eat the meat. I'd start breakfast with a 32 oz. tri-tip, some pork chops, maybe bacon on the side. Lunch was pretty much the same. Dinner consisted of more meat. Kookoodoll: Did you do anything else besides eat meat? M.E. Anon: I worked in the meat department until they started random meat testing. They found too much protein in my system. After that, I started a band. Kookoodoll: What were you called? M.E. Anon: The Meatheads. We played in my favorite city. Have you heard of Coalinga? Kookoodoll: I think so. Tell me about your new group, Meat Eaters Anonymous? M.E. Anon: Well, there aren't any vegetarians in it. Kookoodoll: Anything else you'd like viewers to know? M.E. Anon: We love animals. They are delicious! Kookoodoll: I appreciate your endeavor in making the world a better space for all of us. |
